Tiksharaतीक्ष्ण
Tikshara — from Sanskrit, meaning sharpness, precision, keenness. It is the quality of a blade that cuts clean, a measurement that holds true, a process that leaves no ambiguity.
Tikshara is a digital-first cut-to-size metal procurement platform built for India. We serve aerospace, defense, drone, space, and industrial manufacturers — along with the R&D labs and machine shops that prototype and produce for them.
Our core promise: quote in one hour, same-day delivery in Mumbai, mill certificates and traceability on every order, no grade fraud, and no minimum order quantity on exotic alloys. We believe the verification burden should not fall on the buyer — so we test before you ask, and disclose before you check.

Why we exist
Metal procurement in India runs on trust. You call a stockist. He quotes you over WhatsApp. The material arrives without a mill certificate. The grade printed on the label may or may not match what's inside the plate. If you're a small buyer, you may not even get a callback.
This system worked when the stakes were low — when the parts being made were brackets and covers and things that could tolerate a 10% variance in composition. But India's manufacturing ambition has changed. We are building satellites. We are building drones for defense. We are building hypersonic test articles and medical implants and rocket propulsion systems.
These applications do not tolerate grade fraud. They do not tolerate untraceable material. They do not tolerate a supply chain where the answer to "where did this metal come from?" is a shrug and a photocopy.
Tikshara exists because we believe Indian manufacturers deserve the same procurement infrastructure that their counterparts in the US, Europe, and Japan take for granted: verified material, with certificates, delivered on time, at transparent pricing, with no minimum order quantity gatekeeping on the alloys they need.
That is what we are building. That is why Tikshara exists.
